Alignment of Repairs and Asset Management
This in-person strategic workshop will bring Assets & Repairs leaders together to share experiences, compare approaches and collectively explore what a more joined-up function could look like by 2030.
About this event
What should the Assets & Repairs function look like by 2030?
As expectations around service performance, investment, compliance, customer experience and value for money continue to grow, the relationship between Repairs and Asset Management is evolving too.
This in-person strategic workshop will bring Assets & Repairs leaders together to share experiences, compare approaches and collectively explore what a more joined-up function could look like by 2030.
Drawing on the different models and experiences across the Club, we’ll discuss what is working well, where challenges remain and how organisations are bringing together people, data, technology and decision-making to achieve better outcomes.
This will be an interactive session, giving members plenty of opportunity to share their own approaches, learn from peers and challenge thinking. The aim is to leave with practical ideas and learning that members can take back into their own organisations as they shape the Assets & Repairs function of the future.
Key topics include
- What should the Assets & Repairs function look like by 2030? What are members changing now, and what capabilities will we need for the future?
- Breaking down silos – how can Repairs and Asset Management work more closely together, ensuring informs investment decisions and that asset strategies translate effectively into operational delivery?
- Evolving roles and accountabilities – how are structures and responsibilities changing, and where are members seeing greater integration across Repairs, Assets, compliance, investment and customer teams?
- Data, AI and automation – where can technology support teams, improve decision-making and free people to focus on the areas where their expertise and judgement add most value?
- Centralisation, specialisation and local delivery – what different models are members using and what can we learn from each other about the benefits and challenges?
- Shared measures of success – how can we better align objectives and measures across Repairs and Asset Management, creating collective ownership of property, customer, performance and value-for-money outcomes?
