The Zero Carbon Club: Helping social housing providers to achieve Net Carbon Zero

The Zero Carbon Club is a peer network programme that is driving forward the sectors decarbonisation strategies, roadmaps and delivery plans.

With decarbonisation at the heart of the social housing sectors agenda, Vantage were asked to develop a peer learning programme to support shared learning and create collaboration opportunities.  Through knowledge sharing, Q&A with experts and support to develop and build on their strategic plans, our aim is to facilitate a sector wide response to carbon targets.  The monthly workshops will enable you to discuss your own decarbonisation challenges, gain and reflect on valuable feedback and implement practical solutions to overcome them.

From funding & finance, customer engagement & behaviour change and retrofit strategies & technologies, our expert facilitators and speakers will give you the flexibility to create a trusted support network that works for you.

“The zero carbon club has been Instrumental in developing our Sustainability Strategy.  The ability to learn quickly from others in the sector and to gain insight from leaders in other industries has accelerated our progress to deliver these key objectives.  Vantage created an informative program, along with a committed group of housing providers and industry leading speakers.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this programme to others.”

Ceri Theobald

“Our aim is to decarbonise our homes, whilst continuing to improve services, invest in existing homes and build more much needed affordable homes.  We are proud to be working in partnership with other housing providers to help collectively find solutions to reduce carbon across the breadth of our business.  Having the forum to discuss and find solutions to such issues is invaluable, and ultimately could help with efficiency by finding common solutions across the sector.”

Joe Reeves

“Platform joined the Zero Carbon Club in order to access expertise, share best practice and be part of a ground-breaking group of forward thinking social landlords.  We want to tackle both climate change via the decarbonisation of our businesses and fuel poverty for our customers.  Vantage bring both expertise and an enviable list of connections from across and outside the sector.”

Dennis Evans

Executive Director (Property) at Platform Housing Group.

“Participation in the Zero Carbon Club is a great opportunity to combine networking with learning on an ever-developing subject area.  The variety of topics covered is very extensive with space to explore the agenda during roundtable discussions and in breakout groups.  The speakers are excellent and bring a different perspective to the subject.”
