Vantage’s Strategic Repairs and Maintenance (R&M) Forum is growing! We are delighted to welcome new members L&Q Group, Johnnie Johnson Housing and Riverside to the R&M Forum, which now represents registered providers with a combined total of over 500,000+ stock.
The Forum was set up at the beginning of 2017 to bring together Directors wishing to share strategic best practice in Asset Management and R&M.
Founder members involved in the development of the Forum include: Accent Group, Longhurst Group, Midland Heart, Yorkshire Housing and Thirteen Group.
“We wanted to create a safe space for Asset Directors and Repairs and Maintenance Directors to be as honest and open as possible in order to learn and share information as a group”. said Rob Bryan, Operations Director of Vantage Business Solutions.
Rob continues: “The group meets physically three times per year, focusing on cross-cutting themes, hot topics and issues for the sector. Members benefits from an online platform which encourages discussion in between sessions, this creates a strong peer learning network. Each session also includes an extended period of networking over lunch. This promotes collaboration and works well for members. We wanted to set up a group that shared information, such a metrics for success, rather than attempting to benchmark without visible results”.
